I don’t know why this particular place is called Semi Detached Point. It doesn’t seem semi-detached so perhaps there is another reason. Maybe it is but it isn’t obvious. Anyway…

The cabins near this place have a bit of history that has to do with mining families (as far as I’m aware).

I do like how scenic this appears. Some of the wake from the waves might be showing the stretch of rips. I do like how they look like they’re wispy trails coming off of the visible land.
