I knew that I’d taken a shot similar to this a while ago, but  in thinking of how to name this image I realise that it was the same slope.

When it comes to detail and light balance I do like this one more. In terms of colour it’s a hard call. I think the previous photo is a bit better as it feels a bit more representative of the area. That said, there likely were different conditions in terms of rainfall and temperature when the last shot was taken.

I still like the slop and shape o this hill. It feels almost as though it’s an area you could easily walk through. The grass is good at concealing the ground with its height and prominence; as such it’s not somewhere I’d walk through unless I was absolutely sure it was safe.

I also like how it seems as though the trees are engulfing everything.
