As seen in The Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney.

Whilst this was taken roughly mid-afternoon, the light is as warm as it is as (if I remember correctly) the the bushfires were still in full force. It’s evident from the smoke in the sky.

I want to go back and take this shot again, but from a different angle. I’m fine with how this turned out, but I can do better. That said, I do like how everything is positioned.

There’s space around the statue which I think creates a sense of distance outside of the obvious, and the people around the statue mostly seem to be expressing a sense of interest that otherwise would not necessarily be there.

The theme for this one is “Summer“.

Whilst the bushfires are having an impact on this scene, this was taken in Summer. To me it feels summery, mostly because it doesn’t feel overtly bleak whilst still feeling rather dry.
