Streptopelia chinensis

I think this is a different spotted dove than the last one I took a photo of, but in the same area a few minutes later.

This one was cleaning itself whilst I was taking photos. I think for a moment it stopped to see what I was doing, then went back to cleaning itself.

What I believe I’ve captured is a bird wholly looking like a bird, but appearing in a way that feels somewhat-unfamiliar.

This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s TPM photo challenge for this week. The theme for this challenge is “Wild Animals”.

I suggest checking out Leanne’s photography, as well as checking out what other people submit into the challenge.

You can find the challenges here.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
