As opposed to all, or one, or none.
It’s probably quite evident that, what with my regular sharing of gig photos of past gigs that I miss gig photography. Hopefully that will be something happening again as of some point within the next few weeks. Not entirely sure that it will be happening again just yet, but it might just, so I’ll see.
Anyway, here’s a photo of see title.
Also, two photos of one member of Born of Osiris are here and here.
Not the best I’ve taken. Not the best I took on this particular night either. Still, I like the shot. It feels dramatic and kind of theatrical.
As this photo was taken for Culture Eater, there is a gallery here and a review here.
This is my submission into the one hundred-and-twenty-fourth Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.
The theme for this one is “Now and Then“.
If I could get a shot of an empty stage where this was taken at the present time, I would. It would make for an interesting comparison, I think, though maybe that would be lazy.
Anyway, I miss shooting gigs, I miss going to gigs and I miss playing gigs. Those aren’t important at the moment, however.
I’m surviving as much as I was beforehand and I’m still trying to get out where I can. Still, looking for a new job, still co-running Culture Eater. I’m also still trying to sell my “art” and not succeeding, so other than being home a bit more often due to not traveling for work and gigs, not much has changed in my life. In that regard I’m really lucky.
I certainly have more disappointment in the general public at the current moment due to how many people are not wearing masks and not showing any care or caution in the current situation. That’s a change.
On a completely related note, I’ve links to places where my “art” can be purchased to the side of this post. If you’re not interested in purchasing any of it, then at the very least please share.
The challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:
Week 1 – Patti
Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya
Week 3 – Amy
Week 4 – Tina
This week’s challenge is curated by Amy. Next week Tina is curating.
The challenges are pretty fun and there’s a lot of room for interpretation that doesn’t get in the way of enjoyment. If you’re into photography, then I suggest participating, or at the least checking out what other people are submitting.
I hope you enjoy.
That is a very cool shot. The lighting is amazing!
IF more people are responsible, we will be able get through this sooner…

Well SH, this may not be your favorite but I think it’s terrific so it’s one of mine. Glad to hear you’re staying safe – never mind the nay-sayers, there will be fewer of them when this is all over.
