Here’s a photo of Fleshgod Apocalypse’s Francesco Ferrini caught in a moment of elation.
I think this is a pleasantly joyous photo.
Here are three other shots from the gig.
As this was taken for Culture Eater, the gallery can be found here. Also, a review can be found here.
This is my submission into the one hundred-and-thirty-first Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.
The theme for this one is “Emotions“.
The challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:
Week 1 – Patti
Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya
Week 3 – Amy
Week 4 – Tina
This week’s challenge is curated by Patti. The next one will be curated by Leya.
The challenges are pretty fun and there’s a lot of room for interpretation that doesn’t get in the way of enjoyment. If you’re into photography, then I suggest participating, or at the least checking out what other people are submitting.
I hope you enjoy.

Interesting image, SH. At this exposure, the mood is a bit spooky, given the red lighting and the hand gesture. I wonder if the viewer would have a different reaction if the image was brighter? That would be an interesting experiment!!

I think it may depend on the screen being used as I can see him pretty well.
Not sure if I’d push it further in terms of brightness as I have a fuzzy memory of there being a fair bit of noise coming through when I was processing the set this image was from.

Hi, SH. Yes, it may depend on my screen. Makes sense.

Are you a metal rocker? Then I guess he is happy.

Metal doesn’t do much for me. Some of it I like, but I prefer heavy for the sum of its parts.
Not into this band but he does look elated to me.

I’m with Patti on this one SH – looks a bit devilish to me!

Yeah, but that’s part and parcel of the charm of it really.

Yeah. Their music videos really help to prop up their theatricality.
