A Poem About Continually Hitting the Metaphorical Wall

Quick, loose and probably little promise but I don’t mind.
Maybe for the next one I’ll put in more work.

I hope you enjoy.

Once more I have set out
Thinking that I can move forward
However, with no plan prepared
I once more am against a wall

There’s no need for its presence
I have ways of being evasive
And yet, despite all I can do
I willingly find it again

I could walk around
Or even away from its location
Though without anything guiding
I might just find the wall again

One thing I could do
Is look where I am going
And have something to work from
To help guide the way

Though stubbornly I refuse
And keep on going
So despite my steadfast desires
The wall keeps finding me

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
