A Poem About Hot Weather

I feel as though I had something interesting when I first started this.
Not necessarily good, but interesting.
I feel I dropped the ball though. Fatigue hit hard.

I hope you enjoy.

Cooler times swept away
By heat announcing itself
Spreading thick, yet remaining thin
Seemingly holding a firm grasp

Dry it feels, yet the air is heavy
And through it heat flows forward
Cooler times are swept away
As the heat permeates
