A Poem About Accumulating Work

I only had a few minutes to spare when I wrote this and wanted to see if I could write something really quickly that made sense. This is probably pretty lazy writing, but I had an idea and knocked it out. Not quite happy with the result; as with most of the stuff I’ve written this could develop into something better. However, I think it gets the idea across well enough.

I hope you enjoy.

It started off a small mound
It seemed it would remain that way
It slowly attracted debris
It gradually increased in size

I watched as it became larger
I poked at some of the sides
I did very little to halt the growth
I ended up with a mountain.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
