Reaching Out
This photo, whilst a reference, was one I took with a specific idea in mind. I think it would work better in better conditions and slightly different framing, and perhaps with two people rather than just myself gripping my arm, … Continue reading

Interlocking
This photo turned out well. Could have less noise, but I feel that how the shadows fall upon it make it appear striking, or at least sharp, in a sense. I hope you enjoy.

Two Sails
Two sails of The Sydney Opera House, though with an intentionally obfuscating framing. This is my submission into the three hundred-and-sixty-seventh Lens-Artists Photo Challenge. The theme for this one is “Everyone Should See This“. The host of the Lens-Artists challenges cycles … Continue reading

Rusting Layers
What you can see here is part of a structure rusting away. Layers are revealed, but this has been exposed to the elements for so long that now it’s more rust. This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s “Monochrome Madness” for … Continue reading

Shadowed Sight
Another practise photo that turned out well. At least, I think it turned out well. You could probably argue that this image speaks to a loss of sense of identity we might try to protect ourselves from. A loss of … Continue reading

Lone Truck on a Lone Drive
Truthfully there was traffic nearby. I stayed at this spot for the opportunity to capture the scene with one vehicle visible and this was the best one. I think it works in terms of space and isolation. For some reason … Continue reading

Hand on Hand
Just hands on hands. Another one I want to retake to get something with more clarity, but for now this works. It’s something I think I can do something with so long as I take positioning into account. I hope … Continue reading

From the Bottom
So this is not a good photo, but I like it anyway. Or rather, I like what it could be. This was taken solely to see if I could do it. I had to bend backward to get the photo, … Continue reading
Skylight Frame
I took this photo a few weeks ago as I thought the view from this skylight was interesting. Nothing more to it. When it came to submitting a photo to this challenge I tried retaking the shot from a better … Continue reading

Spread Wings
I was taking some reference photos for a thing I might end up doing with a friend. They turned out better than I thought; there are issues with noise and sharpness, but there’s an expressiveness to them that I wasn’t … Continue reading
