Percussive Focus

Posted on October 3, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

This is (as far as I’m aware) the drummer for Somnium Nox, a band I photographed last year whilst they were supporting Wolves in the Throne Room (the gallery is available here). I really like this shot due to how … Continue reading →

More Yoda

Posted on September 23, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

Whilst the last shot of Yoda had more space, this one has more motion. As such, it’s dramatic, though in a different way. There’s a sense of passion and energy coming from Yoda. Despite his being seated, he still puts … Continue reading →

GoldLink: Diaspora Review

Posted on September 17, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

This is a review I sat on since last year. Grabbed the album from a list, then didn’t listen to it properly until last month. Maybe two months ago. Occasionally I’d remember that I had the album for review but … Continue reading →

More Taka

Posted on September 16, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

Yet another shot of Taka of MONO. So with this shot I really like the sense of space around Taka. Whilst Dahm Majuri Cipolla is in the background, the space around Taka still feels empty. I like that most of … Continue reading →

Anderson .Paak and His Audience

Posted on September 8, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

More Anderson .Paak and this time in a very red photo (prior-shared shots here and here). I really like how the colour came out and how it works with what is visible. It helps to bring forward the passion and … Continue reading →

Another Shot of Anderson .Paak

Posted on September 6, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

Here’s another shot of Anderson .Paak. Not sure as to why I’ve only shared one here before this one, but that’s not important. Something I really liked about this gig is how animated Anderson .Paak was. He made good use … Continue reading →

tricot: Makkuro Review

Posted on August 23, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

This is a review I should’ve started and finished a while ago. Instead I started and finished it today. It’s not as fleshed out as I would like, but I think I get across some of what I was trying … Continue reading →

During Movement

Posted on August 19, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

This is the guitarist for Even. They were the support act for The Dandy Warhols when they played at The Enmore last year. Maybe this shot is a little too dark, but I feel as though it captures the guitarist … Continue reading →

Zia McCabe

Posted on June 13, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

I don’t feel as though I got good shots of Zia McCabe when The Dandy Warhols were here last year. I missed a few opportunities so I did the best I could with what I ended up with. I think … Continue reading →

Brent DeBoer

Posted on June 5, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

Of The Dandy Warhols. I think I like this photo more for how the colour sits in the photo rather than for what Brent DeBoer is doing, though that still is something I find interesting. It appears as though he’s … Continue reading →
