Cicada Shell

On the same day I took the photo of the tribues at Martin Place last month (the 20th, which was a Saturday if anyone is curious) I found a cicada shell on my washing basket as I was hanging up my washing.

I’m quite fond of cicadas and the shells they leave behind when they molt. I’m not sure why.

I played around with it for a while and took some photos of it in my hair before deciding to put it on a tree and take photos of it there.

I also found out that the viewfinder of my camera was adjustable.

I’ve had the camera since early 2011.

Anwyay, I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
