Whilst I was checking out the animals at the cattle station in Bathurst, I saw a bathtub.
Now you can experience the seeing of the bathtub too.
I think that sheep use it as a water source, but I could be wrong.
I’m not too sure what to make of the photo.
I like it quite a lot, but, aside from certain things (framing, light, land, etc. etc.), I’m not sure as to what it is that really strikes me upon viewing.
I don’t think it’s an intense image (although the sky is pretty close to being intense), but I do think that it does have some kind of strength in how it looks.
I could try to get pretentious and say that this image represent Australia as it currently is, except that it represents the part of Australia that was that is in the photo.
BRILLIANT!
With that being said, I’m happy with the photo. I’m happy that it turned out as well as it did and I do like that it’s a blatantly unnatural object in a landscape that is less unnatural.
I also like that the bathtub seems to have been repurposed.
This is my entry into Leanne Cole‘s Monochrome Madness for this week.
You should go check out what other pictures people are submitting, as well as Leanne’s work outside of M.M.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

Maybe that’s why the sheep wasn’t in it.
