So in this photo we have part of ANZAC Bridge and part of Glebe Island Bridge.
Glebe Island Bridge has not been in use for a long time as it was superseded by ANZAC Bridge.
Sadly Glebe Island Bridge, or the area to its western side are not open to the public.
It would make for a great crossing for pedestrian traffic despite that being an option on ANZAC Bridge.
I think that there’s an interesting contrast between the dry vegetation and the structure of ANZAC Bridge in this photo.
One has been around for longer and sees vegetation taking hold.
The other is newer and sees pollution marks taking hold.
There’s also an interesting contrast in size differences, and I like how they almost seem to be going in the same direction as exact as each other.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy.
