Here we have a photo of a rock dove bathing.

Perhaps it is to cool down. Perhaps it is to remove dirt and maintain plumage.

There are many reasons as to why this rock dove could be bathing in the water.

I like the way that the water appears on the rock dove, as well as how still and yet in motion it seems.

I also like the form of the rock dove. You can see that it is moving quickly and it looks fluffed up (kind of).
