Canal Crossing

As seen in Jubilee Park.

I think I may have gone a little too hard with light levels.

With that being said, I do like the contrast.

I think that the small amount of water creating only a partial reflection (and not a still one) creates a nice impression of what the bridge looks like.

I also think that the way the morning light is captured in the arches allows for a bit more depth and tone in the photo.

This is my entry into Leanne Cole‘s Monochrome Madness for this week.

I recommend checking out Monochrome Madness, as well as Leanne Cole’s work.
I also recommend that you consider participating. It’s been going for a few years and it’s a good way to be involved with a small, fun community.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
