We’ve had some pretty serious bushfires over the past few weeks.

It’s pretty early on in the bushfire season. It’s also early for us to be in the bushfire season.

I was getting a lift to uni on Tuesday when I was afforded the opportunity to get this photo.

The smoke introduces an ambiguity to what normally is a clear, distinct scene.

It feels as though there’s an element of silence. Maybe it’s stillness and not silence.
