I was trying to capture this scene in a certain way. I won’t say how as I’m going to head back out to this spot and take the photo again; hopefully closer to how I want to capture the scene.
So this shot shows a bunch of shades framing light on their surfaces. Beyond them lies The Sydney Harbour Bridge. Due to perspective it almost appears as though it’s twisting a little bit.
Other than three boats the scene appears as though it is quiet. I’m pretty sure it was at the time of taking the photo.
This is my submission into the ninety-ninth Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.
The theme for this one is “Old and New“.
The shades have been at this spot for a long time, but compared to The Sydney Harbour Bridge, they are quite new.
Now that I think about it, their design style seems different to the bridge which leads to a stronger indication of coming from a different era.
The challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:
Week 1 – Patti
Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya
Week 3 – Amy
Week 4 – Tina
This one is hosted by Amy. Next week it will be hosted by Tina.
I recommend giving the challenges a go and seeing how you interpret each theme. I also recommend checking out what other people are doing to meet the challenges.
I hope you enjoy.
