Saw this at a beach, as evidenced by the appearance of sand, and waves, and ocean…

Why did I state that? It’s rather obvious.

Anyway, I saw this and tried to get a photo that captured it well.
I feel that this shot give a good idea of the rock’s shape (at this particular angle, of course), but the image feels a bit too close to appearing as though it was taken in the afternoon; something I’m not much of a fan of as the image was taken in the morning. Oh well.

I do like where the colour in the rock appears, as well as how (somewhat) de-saturated it appears. I also like the ridges as it gives a “rough smooth” texture when taking into consideration the rock’s overall appearance.
