A bit of a dark photo, but I’m fine with that as it draws more attention to the ibis’ shape than it does the details on it, though it is nice that you can see some of the feather positioning.
I’m pretty sure that when I took this photo the ibis was keeping an eye on me as during my slow approach it turned around, then decided to head elsewhere. Had I stayed still it might not have flown away.

I don’t think they visit the UK. We do get some lovely birds around here, herons and sandpipers and swans. All so beautiful.
