Vanquished Minotaur

Here’s another sculpture that is a part of The Archibald Memorial Fountain.

Theseus is partially off to the side. When I took this photo I wanted to focus on the minotaur and its form and facial expression.

I think there’s a sense of aftermath in the minotaur, which, considering what the sculpture represents, makes sense. There was a fight and we’re seeing part of the aftermath.

This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s “Monochrome Madness” for this week.
I suggest checking out Leanne’s photography, as well as checking out what other people submit.

A lot of what people are submitting will likely end up here.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
