Recently I went to North Head to take photos from a lookout point there that faces the city. Unfortunately the lookout point was closed, but I got a photo of this bare tree which was one of many.
I think there may have been a fire there recently. There was some backburning in the area last year so that likely has something to do with the amount of trees that appear bare.
These ones stuck out a bit as there was a fair bit of space around them, allowing more focus.
I like the way the branches spread out here. It almost feels like they’re creating some sort of circle whilst also reaching outward.
This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s “Monochrome Madness” for this week.
I suggest checking out Leanne’s photography, as well as checking out what other people submit.
A lot of what people are submitting will likely end up here.
I hope you enjoy.
