A Poem About Rain’s Arrival

Just a quick scrambling for words.
I went in with an idea and scrapped it a few times as after a few lines I would get stuck with how to proceed. The below came out easy but it’s really rough. Might be more rough than usual.

I hope you enjoy.

I look for the words
To capture the weather
For today the sky has threatened
And refused to deliver

Now the rain has arrived
Its sound quite familiar
As all shifts to evening
The rain marks the transition

Although the light was lowering
It now dims whilst dull
And soon it will disappear
Whilst the rain’s sound remains

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
