Cloud Nothings: Life Is Only One Event

Posted on July 11, 2021 by Stupidity Hole

This review was started three days ago and finished a few minutes ago. I was hoping for something longer, but I feel I’ve already overthought it and rewritten most of it, so even though it still feels rough I’ve had … Continue reading →

Cloud Nothings: The Black Hole Understands

Posted on July 5, 2021 by Stupidity Hole

This was quick to write and finish. I started the review on the first inst., then finished it today. It was only about… maybe four or six hours of work. Could’ve been better, but right now I’m trying to stop … Continue reading →

tricot: Tokyo Vampire Hotel

Posted on April 19, 2021 by Stupidity Hole

I’ve wanted to do these a bit more frequently and I’m not sure as to why I have not. This was written over three listens, though the last one was split up a fair bit due to how quickly “Tokyo … Continue reading →

tricot: 10 Review

Posted on January 18, 2021 by Stupidity Hole

This review took far longer than I had hoped. I created a WordPad document for the review two days after 10 came out, so I suspect that I started writing the review either late October or early November. I wrote … Continue reading →

More Courtney Taylor-Taylor

Posted on December 28, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

Another photo of Courtney Taylor-Taylor from when The Dandy Warhols last played in Sydney. I feel as though Courtney Taylor-Taylor looks introspective in this photo, though I can’t remember the context of what he was doing here and I don’t … Continue reading →

Five-Hundred Word Challenge 846: On The Hives

Posted on December 28, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

Well, that is the way that the things go and now I am energised, which means I have to explain the event in question. You see, what I was doing was listening to The Hives and whilst I was listening … Continue reading →

Baroness: The Sweetest Curse

Posted on December 26, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

For this one I went more for describing what was happening with the music. Before starting this I was looking to do something that wasn’t one thing the whole way through. “The Sweetest Curse” does shift a bit, but (other … Continue reading →

Blind Idiot God: Thunderhead

Posted on December 18, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

This was written over one listen. I’m kind of surprised that I got this much out of it as “Thunderhead” moves quickly and is quite relentless. Maybe it was due to familiarity with the song from listening to it a … Continue reading →

Sophia: Holding On / Letting Go Review

Posted on November 26, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

Another review that took longer than I’d hoped to edit. Not a great review. Probably not a good review either, but once more I feel as though I’m moving toward something. Most of my interview and review work now appears … Continue reading →

Deftones: Ohms Review

Posted on November 22, 2020 by Stupidity Hole

Pretty sure that this is the longest music review I’ve written. Not sure if that’s a good thing. I’m sure there are parts I could’ve cut down by a significant amount. I’ve spent most of the last six hours editing … Continue reading →
