Three Geese
When I saw these geese I tried to frame them in a particular way as I like how they were positioned on the incline. There was something about it that appealed to me. I think it may have had to … Continue reading

Hill in Sunset
Here’s a photo that was taken in the same location as these photos. This one has less to it, and in a sense it makes the image more minimal. I do like the way the sunset’s light is captured in … Continue reading

Five-Hundred Word Challenge 1072: Mow Yourself
So I look at the lawn and go “Why can’t you just mow yourself?” Why do I have to do this? Why do I have to be responsible for that which grows outside of this building in which I currently … Continue reading
A Poem About Watching Clouds
Just some more rushed stuff. I had the idea probably about a minute before I started writing. Not sure if jumping into this so quickly was a good idea or not, but, well, I did, so yeah. I hope you … Continue reading
Curve Faces the Frame
This was taken a few weeks ago whilst wandering about Sydney Olympic Park. I like the sense of distance in this photo, as well as the sense of oddness caused by the shape of the corridor. I also like the … Continue reading

A Few Cows and Trees
This was taken when I drove back from Melbourne to Sydney earlier this year during Autumn. The image was taken in the same location as these ones. I feel as though this would’ve worked better had I not worried about … Continue reading

Brief Rest
Here is a photo of a person having a brief rest before continuing walking to the top of a hill. I like this shot as the person feels small, and the top of the hill distant. Relative to the size … Continue reading

Overhead Wire on the Hill
There’s a bit of colour in this photo, yet I think it feels a bit bleak and stark. There’s something ominous about it too, though that might have to do with how overcast it is, as those clouds are the … Continue reading

Cargo Carriages
Here is a line of cargo carriages. I feel like this is a moodier photo than the individual objects suggest. Still, I like how it turned out. I feel that there’s something satisfying about the image. I hope you enjoy.
