Shipbreaking Ramp in Decay
During one of my recent wanderings around Sydney Olympic Park I took this photo. I think it was mostly due to being interested in how the ramp appeared. I think I was also trying to frame this in a particular … Continue reading

Anemone hupehensis var. japonica
From what I can see this plant is also known as Japanese anemone and Japanese thimbleweed. I don’t know which common name is more correct, but I know that I decided to take a photo of this plant when I … Continue reading

Port Awaiting Cargo
This was taken around the same time as this photo. I think the noise reinforces a sense of coldness to the image, or maybe a harshness. Not sure. I also think that this wasn’t the best angle to make the … Continue reading

RSI
Here’s something I drew to represent the pain from the RSI I have due to an injury sustained at the end of 2017 that those in charge chose not to record. Usually I’m fine but it has been pretty bad … Continue reading
Held in Shadow
A photo similar to this one, in part due to it being taken just before. Similar in feel, as it should be, but I think this one focuses more on form than it does expression. This is my submission into Leanne … Continue reading

Held in Hands
Last week I took a series of reference photos with my phone for something I want to do. I’d been meaning to take a few more with my camera but I kept putting that aside until last night. I checked … Continue reading

Veiled in Clouds
Narrow Neck, but unlike these photos it’s a little more mysterious here. It’s interesting how a thick layer of cloud can alter familiarity. I hope you enjoy.

Face Between Plants
Just a photo of a cliff face… between plants. I may have pushed the shadows a bit too much on this one. Initially the photo was a bit dull so I tried to adjust for that so as to better … Continue reading

Theremin Error
This is one of the members of Svntax Error as seen supporting MONO earlier this year. I really like the hand shape in this one. I find it striking, which is likely in part due to how the lights highlight … Continue reading

Two for the Audience
This was taken when I photographed Crooked Colours at The Enmore. Kayex was one of the support acts and I felt their performance was a bit lacking. Various reasons why I won’t get into here, but the audience was enjoying … Continue reading
