A Poem About Rainfall
I feel like I should have tried to pay a bit more attention to form and structure with this one. I was going to write about how a lovely old customer said some incredibly kind and well-wishing things to me … Continue reading
Five-Hundred Word Challenge 721: Questioning and Pondering

Walls, Walls and a Ceiling Above
It’s been a while since I last wrote some poetry. It is apparent that I have managed to not improve, which might be an achievement. I think that the imagery is both specific and vague. Maybe. I think I got … Continue reading

Five-Hundred Word Challenge 490: Keep Ringing
It is Monday. It is in the A.M. It is a day of work, but a short one (I hope). Today will not be a long day, unless it attaches more hours. The weather does not heave, but it is … Continue reading
Five-Hundred Word Challenge 476: Klang.
“Klang”. The sound resonates off the walls, through the hearts of the populace and around the world ninety times before it can no longer be felt. The dropping of the object was not what was expected. The watching of it … Continue reading
Five-Hundred Word Challenge 347: Tunneling for an Exit
The walls were collapsing and there was no escape. Well, it seemed that there was no escape. It was rather hard to tell, what with all the lack of easily-accessible lighting that would be needed to tell as to where … Continue reading
