Canna indica

From what I understand, this one specifically is Canna indica var. flava.

I saw this last year during one of the stops Fe and I made whilst we were driving around places south of Sydney.

I think the lighting and the focus turned out quite well. I like that the flower is not centered and not fully visible. It allows more of the mind to fill in the blanks.

I also think that it’s a pretty flower overall.

It makes me wonder as to whether someone just left a bunch of seeds where this was growing as, as far as I’m aware, the plant is not endemic to the region in which it was growing.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.
