This is a place near Otford. I’ve been down to where these particular cabins are a few times. It’s a pleasant place.
I think this photo has a good sense of scale and space. I do like how the scene gives a good idea of the view from the cabins: a vast ocean with a few cargo ships making themselves apparent.
This is my submission into the one hundred-and-third Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.
The theme for this one is “Surprise“.
I think that seeing the cabins might be surprising the first time you see them as when you see the landscape they appear to be built in an area not quite hospitable for their location. There also appears to be no way down.

Looks like a very peaceful spot SH. Not only surprising that you can get to them, imagine how difficult it was to build them in the first place!

Potentially. There’s a long history behind the shacks in The Royal National Park, so if these are part of that history it’s quite possible that they were more easily built than appearances suggest.

Certainly one way of looking at it, though they still remain quite readily attached to civilisation. Just a few more steps away than usual though.
