A Poem About Sounds at Night

With most of these I feel that if I sunk more time into working on them, they’d turn out much better.

Anyway, with this one I was just looking to try and capture some of the sounds I can hear at the moment.

I hope you enjoy.

Sounds reach out through the dark
Into the light in which I sit
And look to be received

I hear them move through the night
As they refute a stillness
And form their rhythms

Some of it carries a calmness
Others break in to punctuate
They all eventually disappear

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
