Black Swan in the Rain

This was one of the swans I saw on my birthday.
It was keeping an eye on me, which I imagine was due to making sure I didn’t get too close to its child.

I like how still it appears as it sort of goes against what is happening around it. The rain falls and creates disturbance, but the swan just stays there. It probably was creating its own disturbance on the water surface, but among the rain it is difficult to tell.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
