I just found out that this bird is a muscovy duck.
I saw it at the start of the month near Botany.
Probably could’ve done better with the light as this isn’t exactly a good photo, but at least it shows the muscovy duck as what it is: a muscovy duck.
The face I find particularly interesting, as well as the beak really as I’m pretty sure that before seeing this one (as well as another that was near it) I hadn’t seen a duck with these specific duck and beak features.
