Go Ichinose: Route 216 (Day)

Posted on April 13, 2025 by Stupidity Hole

One listen. I wasn’t going to do any more music today, but I heard this song for the first time in a while and it sort of swept me up. I did struggle a bit, however, and I’m not sure … Continue reading →

Shota Kageyama: Unwavering Emotions

Posted on April 13, 2025 by Stupidity Hole

One listen. I was expecting to describe the music as it was happening more than anything. I’m fairly certain I captured something about it quite well. At the least, I do like what I wrote. Shota Kageyama’s (景山将太) “Unwavering Emotions” … Continue reading →

Go Ichinose: Pokémon League (Day)

Posted on April 13, 2025 by Stupidity Hole

One listen, though with a restart early on. The reason being was that I was thinking far, far too much about what to convey. Let go a little and the words came forward, and this became easier to write. So … Continue reading →

Lake: Tapper

Posted on April 12, 2025 by Stupidity Hole

One listen. Decided it’d be good to write about this song from Lake also, though I’m not sure why I decided. Something in it revealed itself to me, I guess. Anyway, I feel this got better the further into the … Continue reading →

Lake: Jettison

Posted on April 11, 2025 by Stupidity Hole

One listen. I’ve wanted to hold off on writing about this song because I want to write about the album as a whole. It took a long time to get a hold of it, but I don’t know how long … Continue reading →

Radiowar: Exchange

Posted on April 10, 2025 by Stupidity Hole

One listen. Let go a little with this one. Led to some more repetition than I’d have liked, but this writing feels very… organic, in a sense. I mean, all my writing does to some extent, but this one especially … Continue reading →

Yoko Shimomura: Treasured Memories

Posted on April 10, 2025 by Stupidity Hole

One listen. I’m not sure what I wrote here. I mean, I can read it and I know what I wrote, but I’m not “sure” of it, if that makes sense. Yoko Shimomura’s (下村陽子) “Treasured Memories” is from Kingdom Hearts … Continue reading →

Himuro Yoshiteru: I Wanted a New Life

Posted on April 9, 2025 by Stupidity Hole

One listen. I had ideas going into this one, and I’m not sure if I properly realised them. That’s fine, however, as I still capture the song, or at least was getting to a point where I was getting across … Continue reading →

Yoko Shimomura: Dearly Beloved

Posted on April 9, 2025 by Stupidity Hole

Two listens for this one. A rather iconic piece of music, especially for a particular age group that was into gaming in the early aughts. Certainly iconic to me, too. Tried to avoid that, and I think I did. Tried … Continue reading →

Fumie Kumatani: Jungle -A Lush Load-

Posted on April 7, 2025 by Stupidity Hole

One listen. Not sure where I was going with this one. Sort of just describing the song, sort of trying not to. Fumie Kumatani’s (“熊谷文恵”) “Jungle -A Lush Load-” is from Phantasy Star Online Songs of RAGOL Odyssey -Soundtrack EPISODE … Continue reading →
