Path into the Fog

I’d been wanting to go to Govetts Leap for a while so I was pretty happy that we were able to go yesterday.

Of course this is mostly how the view was.

It was kind of interesting how on the way up to this point my housemate and I had driven through the fog layer and reached a point where it was no longer visible. We’d arrived at the car park and it seemed like there would be no fog, but as we walked down we entered the layer once more.

I like how the fog obscures details and make things feel kind of vague or ambiguous. It’s clear as to what a lot of things are, but it’s their details that lose their distinction, I think.

I also like how the fog makes the scene feel quiet.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
